Ophelia's on the Bay
is Sarasota's finest waterfront
restaurant now in it's 17th season.
The low profile of the building gives
you eye-level views of Little Sarasota
Bay framed by tropical vegetation, a water
lily pond with a bronze fountain and flower
gardens. It is Florida the way it should
be, without glitz, just a grand view of
an unfettered sweep of water, mangroves,
seabirds, and an occasional boat or dolphin
gliding by. You may dine in one of two
glass walled, casually elegant dining
rooms or outside on the dockside open
air patio.
Ophelia's food has evolved over
the years into a blend of cuisines and
influences mixing new world with old,
American with Asian, Italian with Floridian.
Our chef is constantly researching and
creating new dishes for the menu. We print
our menu nightly using the freshest local
fish and produce available. Our pastry
chef has brought us to a new level, bringing
home first place in the Taste of Sarasota
fund raiser for our local food bank.
Ophelia's is also
known for its evolving American cuisine
style that is creatively combined with
other world cuisines. Combining local
fresh seafood and fine meats with Florida
grown produce, Ophelia's offers
a menu with a distinctly New World flare
that changes nightly.
